Intel Focus is a not-for-profit company working at the intersection of open-source intelligence, media literacy and digital accountability. Founded by Qais Alamdar, an OSINT investigator, analyst and trainer specialising in geospatial analysis and counter-disinformation, Intel Focus was created in response to the growing need for rigorous, accessible and people-centred approaches to information verification and digital investigations. INTEL FOCUS LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 17112681, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom.

OUR MISSION

We are focused on open-source intelligence, investigative journalism, media literacy and strategic communications. Our work is rooted in the belief that accurate, verified information is essential to public understanding, democratic resilience and meaningful accountability.

Our mission is to strengthen the public sphere by producing credible investigations, exposing disinformation, improving digital literacy and helping audiences better understand how information is shaped, manipulated and weaponised. We aim to make investigative methods and verification practices more accessible, while maintaining high editorial standards and a clear public-interest focus.

OUR VALUES

Our values are grounded in rigour, independence, accessibility, accountability and human-centred inquiry. We believe investigations should be evidence-based, transparent in method, and understandable beyond specialist circles. We value multilingual and cross-border perspectives, and we approach digital harm, conflict narratives and information disorder with seriousness, fairness and care.

OUR WORK

Through our Reality-Check Unit, we conduct OSINT investigations, analyse influence and disinformation campaigns, and publish verified fact-checks designed to cut through noise, distortion and manipulation. Our work is intended to inform the public, support journalists and researchers, and contribute to stronger civil society responses to information warfare.

Intel Focus also produces original editorial and audio content, including long-form conversations with investigators, journalists, researchers and experts working on major open-source inquiries, as well as accessible analysis of developments in security, technology, conflict and global affairs.

Alongside our publishing work, we provide training and consultancy for organisations and individuals. This includes tailored support in digital investigations, counter-disinformation strategy, AI and media literacy, verification methods, and responses to online hate, manipulation and hostile information activity.

At its core, Intel Focus exists to connect the dots others miss, translate complexity into clarity, and help build a more informed, resilient and accountable information environment.
