Intel Focus is an investigative platform at the intersection of open-source intelligence, media literacy, and digital accountability. Founded by Qais Alamdar, an OSINT investigator, analyst and trainer–specialising in geospatial analysis and counter-disinformation, Intel Focus was created in response to the growing need for democratic, accessible, rigorous, and people-centred approaches to information verification and digital investigations.

Based in Berlin, Germany, Intel Focus operates under the umbrella of CORRECTIV.Exile with a distributed team working remotely from various regions across the globe. This international presence allows us to cover diverse contexts, tap into multilingual expertise, and approach disinformation and conflict narratives from both local and global perspectives.

Through our Reality-Check Unit, we conduct OSINT investigations, expose disinformation campaigns, and produce verified fact-checks that cut through noise and manipulation. Our work informs the public, supports journalists, and strengthens civil society responses to information warfare.
